Every day I see
sitting in the streets
Embera Indians beg for coins
their beautiful dresses, dirtied
their beautiful faces filled with shame
and their infants barely dressed and bored
and then I am angrier than I’ve ever been
at the government
at society
at conservatives.
at guerillas
at the army
at the media
at the church…
But most importantly
at myself.
